On Saturday, Darcy used his creative skills and made a couple of lovely pieces of art for his home. He relaxed and listened to music while painting an abstract piece. He had pasta and Caesar salad for dinner. He had fun adding decorations to a canvas letter "D". Everything turned out great! What an artist!

Our Saturday started off with a great brunch at Eggsmart! Participants enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes, a southwestern salad and one huge burger! From there, we saw the movie ‘Coco’ (we highly recommend it), with a treat to end off the day at Tim Hortons! Due to timing, we had a change of plans on Sunday. Cold, snow and rain could not keep Imagine Respite Services from having a good time. We had lunch and then an intense game of Mini Golf. We have put the Toronto Christmas Market back on the Calendar for December. Thanks to everyone for being so flexible today!!
We had a great day on Thursday at our Day Program. The day started with some exercise at the track at the Pan Am Centre. After a treat at Tim Horton's we headed to Morningside Park for a hike and gathered items like pinecones and tree branches to take to the Toronto Wildlife Centre. After lunch we did some Yoga and Guided Meditation. We had a great day!
The group got together on Saturday Nov 18th for art and lunch. They made an Andy Warhol inspired piece as well as a wooden panel for their homes. Everyone had a blast socializing, acting a bit silly here and there and getting messy with paint! Kaytie and Jen helped with cutting tomatoes and lettuce, grating cheese and cooking the beef and everyone made their own taco for lunch. Everyone was so proud of the work they had done!
On Saturday, Jenny celebrated her birthday with friends. We played lots of games, had pizza and Caesar salad for dinner, Jenny opened cards/gifts and everyone sang while she blew out the candles on her turtles chocolate cake...mmmmm. More games, music, laughter and fun to complete a good night celebrating a wonderful person!
This past Saturday, we did not let the rainy, or damp weather hold us back! We checked out the market at Whittamore’s farm and what a display of food, autumn and Halloween decor! From there, we headed to the Pickering Mall to take a look at costume options! We are all ready for the big night on the 31st! Happy Halloween everyone!
