What a fantastic weekend to spend by the lake in Peterborough Ontario. We spent Saturday afternoon at the Curve Lake Anishinabee Ojibway First Nations Pow Wow. It was a wonderful display of Music, Dance and Regalia. It was a sunny, hot day and we took comfort with some ice cream and a swim in the lake - which was very comfortable for the middle of September. In the evening, we enjoyed S'Mores by the campfire, a movie and we were serenaded by the sound of a cricket we found inside the cottage (and I thought the sound was coming from the movie we were watching). Sunday morning we went for another swim before we packed up to come home. It was a great weekend and an amazing way to enjoy our last cottage weekend of 2017.
